July 23 - Alice, Kevin,
Jodie, Ryan, and Scott arrive for inspection and commissioning.
We commissioned the boat at 10:30 AM on the 24 and
in the afternoon took a 4 hour cruise on the Fraser River. With
the next two days we took the family down the river and across
Georgia Straight through Poulier Pass to Montague Harbor on
Galiano Island, anchored overnight and returned. It was a
beautiful trip.
July 21 - Launch of the boat at 10:30 AM Shelter
Island Marina, Richmond
B.C. Later that evening Brad & Ben took it for a spin down
the Fraser River
to try it out.
July 16, 2004 - Idlewild leaves Reyse Marine shop for
Shelter Island Marina,
Richmond B.C. for fitting out "on the hard" meaning blocked
up on the
ground.
